Probably would’ve ended up doin couple more movies then a prison bid or 2 and get out rapping to them lil John beats

This is the closet to what a pac song would’ve sounded like in in the early mid 2000’s

Probably around '98, but he would've fully transitioned to being an actor/activist. IF the game would've remained the same as far as the sound/time period goes, in '98 people would've just moved on from him. The sound of what's popular was just too different. It would've taken him to compromise who he was as an artist.

That's not to say he wouldn't have had a resurgence later on, but there would've been a good 5-7 years in which he was just another old rapper.

Expecting a rapper in that time to remain relevant for another 7 years is a pretty tall ask. At that point only LL had done it and he wasnt even rapping full time anymore. Beyond that a huge part of his appeal at the time was the crashout. That would only last so long. Of course Pac had the chops to pivot but would folks pivot with him. And the often overlooked issue was that he had an unresolved case. He may very well had been in prison in 03.

And this is all I was saying.earlier, before the groupies started crying.

Well-said.

As @Wacky D mentioned Pac was just really heating up, the entire climate of Rap would have been different had he lived.

Nah, I think he peaked and would've had one more great album run left in him.

I highly suspect Pac would have been retired by that point and moved on to acting or more activism

My bad breh, had your post confused with @Braman I agree with his statements of showing how Pac was just starting to heat up across the board. He would not have fizzled out. If a chump like Drake can still be a factor/on a run, then an actual legitimate cat like Pac would probably still be on one now.

Bro. Why would u logically think Pac would've fizzled out by 99 meanwhile damn near all of his peers were still thriving in 03? Honestly fam. Use logic.

I'm gonna move away from the term "fizzled out" because it's giving off the idea that I'm saying he would be completely washed.

He would've fizzled out of the top-tier right along with the rest of his peers, and probably quicker seeing that he would've had higher expectations than most of them.

Yes. Pac is the second highest selling rapper of all time with Em being the first.

Pac sold at least 75 million records worldwide.

The vast majority of those sales, were in death.

Completely different eras. In the 80s & 90s, you were only as good as your last record.

Nowadays, it's just one big good ole boy network.

:jbhmm: how exactly did X lapped Ma$e ?

He did what mase did 3x over while mase's follow-ups flopped and he proceeded to fade into oblivion.

ehh. as much of a dikkhead as OP is, no need to be offended by this. not saying you are, just in general

we gonna act like jay z who debuted in 96 isn't constantly getting roasted on here :mjlol:
Nawl bruh. I was just saying i wouldn't say he'd fizzled out. The South lived Pac. He'd probably be a feature on a gang of shyt from southern rappers.

I’ve already addressed this
Yes, in totality, you can say that, but the only reason for that was because mase walked away from the industry
if you compare apples to apples, their first debut/body of work, which came out only a few months apart , mase was much more successful than DMX

Drake was artificially held up by absorbing the work of other artists and an era that has no real competitive spirit.
