Actually they were smart.

The biggest craze in food is impossible beef. It is plant-based beef. KFC just signed a deal with those creators. My grocery store advertised it in their paper. They are predicting that this is the future of "meat".

Hence why Mark offered her a mil plus 10% for the entire thing. He knows they will get more than 100 mil, especially since beef is doing so well.
This exactly. OP is a dumbass

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:

Cliffs:
- Black couple starts a fried chicken business called 'Atlas Monroe' (stupid name)
- Refuses to hire copackers to protect 'secret recipe'
- Cost them $2.67 to make 6 pieces of chicken but the costs to the consumer is $44 (chicken, packaging, shipping, etc.)
- Brehette doesn't know the difference between sales and revenue.
- Thinks that because she made 12k one day that she'll make 12 everyday (um it doesn't work like that)
- The chicken isn't real chicken. It's some plant-based sciency thing (didn't understand the details)
- In spite of the confusing presentation receives an offer of 1 million dollars plus 10% lifetime royalty

(inb4 all the posts are on how attractive she is)

Honestly it's too early for them to sell. The fact they they were offered a buy out speaks to the level of potential growth.

But her valuation (as with most people who go on that show) was off. She made the right decision though.
