Not many will speak on this, and it won’t be popular, but a good portion of these dudes out here making these babies, don’t want to go through the courts, because they want to be able to pay when they want and what they want. Same goes for visitation rights. Many, want to be able to pick up and have the child when they please, while still having the mama be the child’s place of residence. They pretty much want to live their lives, and provide minimal care
It’s just easier to complain about the BM, and say she’s doing me dirty.

So now because (from what it seems) most men & women can't make the right decisions the government will step in and clean up your mess, their way.
Go to court petition for shared custody. Put yourself on child support and present your past receipts. Get a GOOD family court lawyer. If you broke then you will receive the irresponsible broke man's outcome. If you're aren't you should fare well. Do the crime, do the time. I'm not sure how you thought this was going to go anyway.

I really want to give a personal story that proves why I disagree with this but I won't. I do understand where you're coming from though. With that being said, if something personally registers with you as a "no go" territory it's likely you won't fall into it. The problem is most black people aren't fond of babymama-daddy issues but most don't HATE it and FEAR the repercussions.
We're more scared of crack than evil baby mamas. Even though one is guaranteed to have a grip on you for at least 18 yrs.
Ppl do more to prevent cavities than give birth to an unexpected children. At this point it's unexcusable unless you a kid.
