He was definitely in a zone, one of the most underrated rap albums. I think it got overlooked because he was looked at as a "fast rapping gimmick" but if you listen to twista he really be saying some shyt.... The production for this album matched his style perfectly. Legendary Traxster was a underrated producer as well
oh shyt worrrrrd, the always overlooked midwest right?... i always said if both twist & do or die were west coast artists we would be discussing them as straight up legends no question
thank god bone hooked up with eazy or they might have ended up being underrated like them too who knows
Meh production? Wacky D my guy you are out yo rabid ass mind!!!!its not that simple. bone had a goat-tier run that transcended regions. and its not simply because they hooked up with eazy, seeing how bone basically saved ruthless records - which is something that has gotten lost in history. the industry was trying to do to ruthless, what they eventually did to murder inc. there was no eazy-e stimulus pack in '94.
twista ran with the kanye/rocafella/dirty south stimulus packs in the mid-00s and took it as far as he could go. he wasnt stuck in the midwest and had a good run.
as for the thread, adrenaline rush gets its props as a classic, altho it fell under the radar upon release due to meh promotion and the stench of his previous run hovering over his head. but yea, its a classic album indeed. it was just too much going on back then.
do or die's debut was hit-or-miss. i never heard their other albums in full.

I don't know about nowhere else but Louisiana /Mississippi
shyt was huge and twista was like top 10 at that time
How was this overlooked?
Emotions & Get it Wet got plenty of radio play
it was played everywhere in the hood
if you’re talking about in terms of sales, I don’t know how it did, but the album was way too hood to appeal to white people.
I'm saying in terms when *WHITE* people talk about good rap albums from 90s I don't see it mentioned too much...
Here is an example, they don't even have it as one of the top 40 rap albums of 1997
