I really wish folks would stop conflating loads of money with happiness. We've seen time and time again it does not help and in many cases just makes shyt worse.

I think studies show the dollar amount where you reach peak happiness(as far as money is concerned) is 70-80k a year. After that it's your basic needs are met plus a few luxuries you splurge on here or there. No one acts fake or begs for money because you ain't rich. Can live a normal life etc
