I really wish folks would stop conflating loads of money with happiness. We've seen time and time again it does not help and in many cases just makes shyt worse.

I think studies show the dollar amount where you reach peak happiness(as far as money is concerned) is 70-80k a year. After that it's :yeshrug: your basic needs are met plus a few luxuries you splurge on here or there. No one acts fake or begs for money because you ain't rich. Can live a normal life etc

I believe him committing suicide after his brother did the same , and seeing what kind of impact it had on his family/friends
makes it even a more cowardly act.
Honestly, shut the fukk up. Who are you to call someone a coward for choosing to end their life of depression. You don't know what was going through his brain everyday. You don't know his suffering. Comments like these are callous and dumb as fukk.

What is truly selfish is to think that your (meaning, his close loved ones) feelings are more important than his daily suffering
