Zach farlow and sah babi are the two atl artist who have arguably the best muaic in their respefrive styked sub genre. They jist make really great music. Yet need to have better imagery or output. To this day i still spin both in my personal listening.
When people hear what i am playing. Always ask. Who is this.
I need to listen to that.

I literally try to forget his too far gone style skill exhibition type songs like barnacles.
All his grounded in his melody stuff does benefit from his experimentation tho.

Past those few missteps artistically. Sah babi is aeguably the best black atl artist in genre.

Honestly I think Baby is done. Gunna makes superior music and actually has more Spotify listeners. But I'm not convinced he can really blow up in the way Baby did initially off My Turn and the Durk tape.

ATL's fall has nothing to do with Kendrick. The talent is simply declining across the board, young dudes are pursuing other ways to get quick money (streaming, hustling, crypto, etc), and rappers who run the labels down south all lost money on thot rappers who didn't blow up. Maybe they'll regroup and try harder next year.
