I was going to take my son to see this movie because T-Mobile gave a big discount on a ticket. Something felt off about the movie compared to the first one, which was alright (I'm not much of a Spidey breh, but it was straight). Nah, take your son, breh. The movie is objectively great, and really doesn't have any kind of undertones or messages other than expressing the importance of following your own path, and being true to yourself and those you care for. Younger brehs could use more movies with messages like this that dodge the trauma porn, honestly.
