Years ago I saw a photo of people protesting Ruby Bridges going to a white school.
The black and white image makes you think it was 100 years ago.

Then you find out Ruby Bridges is still alive. She's 69.
The men and women who yelled all those racist things were the parents of children who are now 70-ish years old. And their kids are like 40-50 years old now.
