I'm big on the theater experience. I could go to the movies every single weekend and see whatever and be happy. But I recognize there will be a death of it in the next 5 years.
In theater movie experiences will decline, but not go completely away. I figure most cities will still maintain 5 or more theaters depending on the size of the city, but I believe the experience will start to resemble "Theatre". There will be big tent pole films that bring people out, but getting tickets will start to get more costlier and harder to get.
There's certain films that the experience can't be replicated; Endgame "on your left", Empire Strikes "Luke, I'm your father"; the audience reaction can't be replicated at home and people will still see those tentpole films with an audience. But Bridges of Madison County or some shyt will be released on Streaming. Sucks, but it is what it is.
