It's one thing saying it to adults but to hear about cacs saying it to little black kids is what be really making me feel like throwing hands.
im not black though
i was darker when i was a kid and i guess too dark for that old man. my bio dad drove a truck to get away from my mom i went with him sometimes. old white men in the deep south at truck stops in the 90s were crazy and scary... and probably still are a lot of them didnt have teeth and there was so much smoke you couldnt breathe. i remember we were going through georgia during the 96 olympics and that guy had a bomb or whateveri remember being like way younger in the 90s and amongst kids at my school we all got along for the most part regardless of color, but some kids couldnt go to some houses, cause a lot of parents were racists. one thing i specifically remember was EVERYONE liked wu-tang lol. even the country kids. of course some kids are shyt heads but growing up until like 2012 or so i felt like people my age were doing a lot better about racism than older people had. but times are different now and people are openly horrible to each other. i look back at some friends now and wonder if they have disliked me all along
sorry for the whole rant about it, but that old white man made me think about racism at an early age. helped me see how stupid that shyt is

most cultures outside America have their own racist words for black people and their reference for the n word is almost always something from american cultural exports.
It takes a lot less energy to not use the nword or its many derivations at all. So much energy is spent trying to police it and trying to claim it’s used in a positive manner, when most examples of its usage are negative. I would hope that one day we stop psyoping ourselves by trying to claim something is positive, when the vast majority of the time it’s used, it’s used as a negative epitaph.
