Taylor Kurosaki, formerly narrative design lead at Naughty Dog, has gone to Infinity Ward. A Naughty Dog veteran of more than 12 years, Kurosaki most notably worked on the cinematics and story of the Uncharted series.
"Very psyched to share that I've joined the phenomenal team at @InfinityWard as the studio's narrative director," Kurosaki tweeted. Jacob Minkoff, former lead game designer at Naughty Dog, is joining Infinity Ward as well. Minkoff is now design director at the studio.

Kurosaki previously worked in television and as a visual effects artist, and started at Naughty Dog in 1995. He briefly returned to working in TV, but came back to Naughty Dog to work on Jak 3, Jak X, and eventually Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Minkoff's most recognizable work may be the train and convoy sequences in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Infinity Ward, best known for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, most recently released 2013's Call of Duty: Ghosts. With Activision creating a three-year development cycle for the series now, Infinity Ward's Call of Duty is expected for 2016.

Earlier this year, Uncharted 4 creative director Amy Hennig departed Naughty Dog, followed shortly by game director Justin Richmond.

So is this an indication that IW is trying to improve their single player cinematics and campaign?
