stop trying to justify okc's blunder. first of all, not only did they not pay him but were there even negotiations? 4 years 52 million is a slap in the face. harden plays no defense but we can say that for a lot of guys in the league. hell man bledsoe turned down the suns weak offer of 4 48 and got a 70 million contract. thunder could have done something. they panicked. traded him for the first offer that sounds good. instead they should have waited and listened to ALL OFFERS.

While I agree that Scott Brooks is a bad coach, there's no way you can reasonably argue that OKC won that trade. What have they done so far to prove that they got the better end of that deal? Please, tell me, because I would love to hear how "assets" are an improvement over a top 10 player in the entire league

Everyone knows why they did it, but it was a bad trade because they pulled the trigger too early and traded in conference.

They should have let Harden, coming off the Olympic team, cook one more year at the rookie scale. Then traded him after the year was done. Could have probably pulled Dipo and Vucci Mane for Harden and pieces.

Good thing they didn't though Russ to LA in 17
