Two years later, why did OKC trade Harden again?

In hindsight they should have kept them but I feel where they were coming from. It probably would have defeated the purpose to max out three wing players and Harden probably wouldn't have reached his potential being the third option.

okc purposefully benched him to try to cap his potential.
that is why currently lamb/pjiii/jqckson are not given much on purpose.

They didn't want to pay him. They should have. That team is never winning a title unless they get that 3rd all star talent. They were set up for a dynasty. Sad really.
