The hats matched his outfits :manny: Yellow and baby blue doesn't go with much :yeshrug: don't see why this is an issue.

He makes $40 mil. He can't get a Nuggets fitted customized in bright blue?

Basketball players can get the most exclusive shyt in the world, but I can't get a $35 hat with my team's logo to coordinate with my gear?

Where is the logo loyalty when the owners collaborate to shut out the players?
NBA teams rivalry is a product to make money off of, with the overall brand being the NBA logo.
If the ABA existed, a NBA team lockout meant that the players could choose to play for another competing league. Taking money from the NBA
A NBA player wearing another NBA team apparel during their personal time, does not take money away from the NBA. Only the overly emotional fans who think they are actual employees of the franchise will make this an issue

way to turn a topic about a snapback into another whine fest about a labor dispute (which btw, was never about NOT paying players)

From a fan standpoint, none of us should really care that much, but at the end of the day, that whole "it's all the NBA, it shouldn't matter to the employer" stuff is bullshyt. Personally, for example I wouldn't be mad if my favorite player wore another team's hat, but I'll tell you what, let Russell Westbrook for example rock a Laker hat and watch everyone make it seem way bigger than what it is and act like Westbrook's dying to be a Laker based on some shyt he wore to match his foams. It gives a bad perception to the motherfukkers that are paying you. Now, again, it shouldn't be THAT big of a deal to a fan, but like I said earlier, players have access to the most exclusive shyt in the world, but I can't get a different color Nuggets hat that anyone could access to match some 1 of 1 pair of sneakers you own? It's kinda ass backwards.

It's not a big issue. But what your saying makes no sense. What your saying would be different is actually the same damn thing.

No. They are competing leagues. Why haven't the NBA team owners ban their contracted players from wearing other NBA team logos?
But I'm sure, had the ABA been in existence, there would be owners banning their contracted players from wearing a competing leagues' merchandise

When I was workin at McDonald's, I was gettin fed up cuz they never tried to get anybody to help me on the grill. I had a homie workin at burger king with the same dilemma. Our homie at hardees kept tellin us how he needed help at his job as well, and he'd rather stay than leave. We were all at a cookout one summer and we got together and decided we'd all work at hardees. It was all love in hardees, but outside in public, we received so much hate.

A ban isn't the same as being discouraged. It's like how NBA teams can't ban LeBron from playing at Dyckman or Rucker Park if he wanted to, but they'd rather not even have him step on the court if they had their way (and in that situation they DO partner with some of these leagues yet still don't want their guys fukking with it).

It's just common sense. We just don't give a shyt because we're about as loyal to ANYTHING as the last jumpoff we screwed.

When I mention the labor dispute, I'm just adding perspective to the "rivalry" that exist between owners, players, and the fans. As fans, we must not get caught up in marketing campaigns about trivial BS that doesn't impact us directly. nikkas know trivial sports statistical, but yet are not as knowledgeable about shyt that directly impact their lives politically, socially and economically
Like you, I wouldn't be madd if King James wore a lakers hat because I know that I wear different team hats for fashion, not because root for that team. So why not apply that same realty to these young professional sport athletes? These overly emotional fans are the worst when they make trivial BS like this ruin their day
