I see Ty's point and wouldn't expect him to say anything less, but the Warriors can match Steph up with Ariza if that really became a problem. It's then up to Houston to run him through hard screens and make Curry chase him around the court

You know all of those players can be healthy and he still doesn't have to guard them right. With exception to Bev who's not much of an offensive factor to begin with

I think people place too much emphasis on positions in this league. Just b/c you play PG doesn't mean you'll be guarded by one each and every matchup, or that you'll have to guard them primarily. Can mix match assignments depending on the situation, Warriors are flexible enough to do this so that Curry will never really be put in a terrible situation

You know Bev and Conley would have played a factor in his performance against their teams, right? He wasn't going to be able to waltz on up and drain threes with two of the best point guard defenders on him.

What's the purpose of posting this gif when Ty himself said he probably wouldn't stop Curry from scoring? He just said he would make him work on defense #WPOY

Is this nikka retarded :mindblown:

I said this after the post-season ended and I'll say it again: STEPHEN CURRY DIDN'T GUARD A SINGLE STARTING PG IN THE PLAYOFFS.

Pelicans: Jrue was out and hurting, I think he played a game or two but came off the bench and Curry didn't have to do shyt against him.
Grizz: One eye Conley, missed 2 games and was hurt in the other ones.
Rockets: Beverley missed the entire series
Cavs: We all know what happened to Kyrie

That shyt was an easy ride. I'm not saying Warriors weren't great, but that was one of the easiest rides in the Western Conference in a long time.

Yeah...GS had a charmed run.

I'm still amazed that the Clippers knocked out the Spurs....Just can't believe it
