Whatever helps you sleep at night breh.
In rreality drake doesn't act tough at all
AND tyga didn't mean drake was fake as in a fake tough guy, he meant he's fake as in he smiles in his face but doesn't really fukk with him.
But people ignoring this.
I'm not arguing with you breh, I'm just disagreeing. Drake talks a lot of shyt and occasionally throws in some tough talk. He makes much better music than Tyga's corny ass, but he still be fronting sometimes. And I know Tyga was saying Drake is a flake, I get that.

none of this gonna make me bothered enough to call either dudes real or fake people. it sounds like it was miscommunication between them or underlying animosity/flakiness that was unresolved. whatever his opinion of drake and vice versa isnt some siren drill to warn y'all. when theres so many people under one roof not everyone gonna click on the same level, and that goes for any work environment.

"real" and "fake" are massively overused terms

You're a Drake fan, you really gon tell me you never heard the nikka talk tough on record? Come on bruh. Between the tough talk and the "Been Chef Curry with the pot" D-Boy reference I can't see how any of you nikkas take him serious unless you're white.
I don't get how that line makes Drake fake? He's clearly not talking about crack, he's talking about his music. Kanye West has made the same reference before, as have about 100 rappers. :dwillhuh:

first, these aint no 9-5 nikkas, they're one of the few groups that are afforded the ability to sa what they want - whether they do or it's always smart to is another question. secondly, that's exactly what he speaking on, it was a great business relationship, from the music side, but no sense in fronting for the publication like yall all go get pedicures together.

i actually respect dude for following his heart and not being afraid of the backlash (could all be a publicity stunt), these cats in this business have zero scruples nowadays...i don't blame them since the money is shorter and you need to politic, but at the end of the day you need to have some integrity,

how can someone that job is the get people to like them and their music afforded the luxury to say as they wish? you need to do things to get people to buy the album and speak on things a lot of people care about or you not making a living.

The only people that have freedom to say as they wish are living off of investments or won the lottery because they don't have to interact with people or get people to like them in order to generate income.

actually, it does...it's the same reason the CEO or Pres of a company can get away with saying certain things or certain actions. being in certain position gives you more freedom, such as being an entertainer. you don't have to play nice with your colleagues (it's not the smartest, but it wont affect you as adversely as "in the real world")

not really...board of directors will remove a CEO if they are hurting shareholder value. CEO is the face of a company especially if private...they have to answer to the public.

We just saw Donald sterling get removed, lol. Now he has to rely on investment because noone is going to pull their stock from apple just because Donald sterling may have shares, haha.

Breh, I'm not talking about anything ridiculous, I'm talking i terms of being PC or overly agreeable at work, big wigs don't have to do that, they can be more crass. I can't sit there and stand up in an all hands meeting and say why 3 of our 5 strategies don't make sense, I have to nod and clap, the CEO tho? He can tear your approach part, that's what I mean by them having a bigger voice and more freedom. Many high ranking managers/pres/VIPs curse in meetings or at their juniors, you're not doing, that as an entry level employee...they have more free reign.

As for your other quote, an artists job is not to shyt on their fans and the person who signed them/writes their checks. Other than that, dudes don't have to say the most complimentary things about other rappers. Of course you have dumbass stanley's who will get up in arms anytime their god is talked down upon and will boycott said artist, but most people don't give a fukk if tyga doesn't like drake, they'll listen to who they listened to regardless. Yes,these dudes live in an industry where they don't have to bite their tongue. You can't say these things about your coworkers or boss in day to day life and not fear true repercussions, things that will keep you from earning income. Rappers can do this and still have a records deal, sel merchandised, tour, book magazines, etc. Y'all are truly naive if you think artist, actors, entertainers have the same set of workplace rules as most corporations. :childplease:
