Breh, I'm not talking about anything ridiculous, I'm talking i terms of being PC or overly agreeable at work, big wigs don't have to do that, they can be more crass. I can't sit there and stand up in an all hands meeting and say why 3 of our 5 strategies don't make sense, I have to nod and clap, the CEO tho? He can tear your approach part, that's what I mean by them having a bigger voice and more freedom. Many high ranking managers/pres/VIPs curse in meetings or at their juniors, you're not doing, that as an entry level employee...they have more free reign.
As for your other quote, an artists job is not to shyt on their fans and the person who signed them/writes their checks. Other than that, dudes don't have to say the most complimentary things about other rappers. Of course you have dumbass stanley's who will get up in arms anytime their god is talked down upon and will boycott said artist, but most people don't give a fukk if tyga doesn't like drake, they'll listen to who they listened to regardless. Yes,these dudes live in an industry where they don't have to bite their tongue. You can't say these things about your coworkers or boss in day to day life and not fear true repercussions, things that will keep you from earning income. Rappers can do this and still have a records deal, sel merchandised, tour, book magazines, etc. Y'all are truly naive if you think artist, actors, entertainers have the same set of workplace rules as most corporations.
