I asked why didn't he give that advice to bm instead of bw, given what he's arguing. No that’s what you said. He didn’t say that

You just compared being overweight (which by all scientific standards is NOT a positive thing...but for most of the population is doable with self control and exercise and personal accountability)Tell me how y'all would feel about this, and be honest:
Oprah or Beyonce or Michelle Obama uses her platform to say "Listen. Black men are typically more fit and easygoing than black women. Black men want fit and feminine and friendly but the reality is, your soulmate may be overweight and have an attitude because black women go through a lot. It's okay. Choose her anyway because love is all that matters."
Y'all cosigning that or nah?
In your scenario, most men would wife her up and men settle all the time.I dont agree but I am not going to argue that point. But I will ask this...
If said man meets a woman that is pretty, has similar values and interests, respects and honors him, gets along well with his family, supportive, cooks, and has great sex is he gonna pass on her because she isnt earning in his level or better yet call it settling if he does get with her?
I can believe that. Bw may be more prevalent in corporate America (not sure of the stats), and I'm sure there are regional differences. Like, there are tons of professional bm down here in southern cities. In the Midwest, not so much.An observation I made while driving through the financial district in downtown Seattle one day....it was around 4pm and people were just getting off work....in that area people make good money.....I noticed thay there were quite alot of black women in that area waiting for the bus or walking to the car garages....there were hardly any black men....take from this what you will and mind you Im on the West Coast....my wife does not make more than me but she makes 6 figures....
Black women do not make more money than black men.
Anyway, terrible fukking advice, and nobody ever says this to other races of women.
Why didn't he suggest that black men get their money up instead?
uh... most men in your community make more money than you...
if you worried about men who are making less, it's time to look inward on why the more successful men are passing you over
none of these things have to do with a "patriarchy"
but lets assume it does...
why would the men of a family allow this to happen to their woman?
in a patriarchy it is their duty to defend/protect the women of their family...
so there would be some protection against these things by fathers/grandfathers/uncles/brothers/cousins
or is the patriarchy only there for bad things to happen to women without any of the protections of the documented history of traditional family honor?
Oh it's a fact.... @Ed MOTHERfukkING G have you noticed this out here in Seattle that more black women have higher paying jobs than black men?....yes could be a regional difference as the black population in Seattle is not to high but Ive been to events out here in the corporate world with my wife and you definitely see it....I can believe that. Bw may be more prevalent in corporate America (not sure of the stats), and I'm sure there are regional differences. Like, there are tons of professional bm down here in southern cities. I'm so tired of the framing of this shyt, and I'm starting to feel like it's deliberate disinformation/propaganda. The idea that black women are largely out here making more money than black men is simply not true.

Just seems like there's this nonstop messaging about black men that we ain't shyt, we ain't doing shyt, black women have lapped us, we're going extinct etc. Are there major red flags about our future? Yea. Especially the college degree data we have. But if we're gonna keep it a buck most of the same red flags can be seen for black women. Black people in general have some potential rough times coming up if community and institutional changes aren't made. But pretending like only black men are struggling is wild.
Glad to read that. I was talking about patriarchy though.Ok with who? My husband doesn't do that.
The Goal post keeps moving. No matter what it is black men can never give them what they want. And what they want is white womanhood.statistically...
black men make more money than black women...
and black men are more fit than black women (along with being more fit than any other demographic of men)
so whats really going on?

They have done some of those things too. I was talking about husbands.uh... most men in your community make more money than you...

I actually don’t meet too many lmao.Because we're talking about the aggregate vs individuals. Most bw don't have children in the aggregate, but individually, most of y'all would say you keep meeting a bunch of single mothers and you wouldn't be lying.
