Damn, some of yall old heads are unforgiving šŸ˜‚ the nikka was like 18 and came out during the twitter era. Of course he was an edge lord. Everyone was trying be edgy or do something for attention. He realized the shyt was lame and grew the fukk up. He stopped hating himself. Yall nikkas act like he was 35 when he came out.
Most of us were never self-hating c00ns, even as teenagers.

There's being young & stupid & there's being a c00n

2 different things.

That's why I never listened to his music, though I probably should because I keep hearing folks claim he's some kind of genius.

But I can't get all that c00n shyt out my skull

The stereotype about crakkkers who adore hip hop yet dont like or appreciate Rnb or other forms of black music is true. Plus Tyler was selling black face merch and c00ning back in the day. Just because he matured a bit in the last few years dont mean his bozo fans did

The beginning of his career is why I can never be a fan of his, no don't act brand new now, those faggit stans are the stans you help molded nikka. :mjlol:

I realize how my fanbase is, yeah just like you, you might've grown up, but they didn't weirdo ass nikka.

Yeah that edgelord c00n shyt from back in the day is why i could never support any of that odd future shyt even though i’ve come around to tyler

He and his crew started out as rich (ie upper middle class in non-Coli terms) suburban kids that aimed for shock value. Thats like being a gangster in their world.

Then they grew up. Some of their fans grew up as well, others didn’t.

I don’t know why we would make it anything more than that :yeshrug:

Nas was 17 years old when he debuted and he respected the art of rap enough not to be on some goofy shyt, I ain’t trying to hear no bullshyt. I remember white blogs and pundits talking about how much of a ā€œgeniusā€ Tyler was when he first came out and comparing Odd Future to Wu-Tang and all that. Tyler embraced all of that bullshyt when it helped him come up, created a persona that was more about trolling and twitter fame than it was his music and now wants to bytch because thats the chief reason why he’s famous? fukk that. This is the bed he made so now he gotta sleep in it.

:mjpls:And Tyler said this…
its actually a whole thing with that shirt, i had like a fukking paragraph to go with it but didnt feel like putting it out. the thing that makes me mad about it is that one, most of the young people who might get mad over it has no actually relation with it, their grand parents might, but them? nah, and also, that is history. that was real, so me just put something that was actually something on a shirt isnt bad when that was a fukking google image? u get me? its like why are you angry that i brought a piece of history up? they dont even teach this shyt to kids in school. half of the people buying prolly think its just a really funny looking face because no one talks about that part of black history. oh wow martin luther king had some speeches and oh yeah it was a couple slaves, but nah, i have never opened a history book in school and had it inform me or my peers about how whites would dress up as black people ( the way they seen us) for entertainment. and the funny part about it is, we have a modern day black face with rappers talking about guns and chains and bytches and all that, but i dont see anyone mentioning that part, nah, cause they are blind to the fact that that is how white people see all of us, stupid ass rappers, the modern black face. but when someone brings up a piece of old history a print it on a piece of cotton ( no pun) everyone is upset? fukk outta here. its just a photo, i mean nothing by it, i just thought it would look cool to tell you the truth.
