I hear what Tyrese is saying, but...
I just wish he would address the other side to those cultures he mentioned...
Yeah, Latinos, Jewish and Middle Eastern ppl may be known to be family oriented, patriarchal and practice group economics, but that doesn't mean that they don't have their share of issues.
The thing is..
Those groups keep their dysfunction in house or it isn't highlighted like it is in the Black community.
As someone who live around Latinos for pretty much most of my life, they are no different than any other group aside from obvious cultural differences. They are also not monoliths. They definitely deal with high incarceration rates, domestic violence, financial ignorance, drug abuse just like every other group.
So, on the surface it may seem one way with them, but it doesn't represent all of them.
Tyrese just need to love himself and be the example he praises from other groups mentioned by him.
Lastly, for the poster who casually threw shots @ California Brehs, let me say this...
Seems to me that you must be jealous of California dudes. There is no way you know how any Cali Breh feel about himself...
Not sure where you are from, but I am sure you wouldn't appreciate if someone from California said that all Brehs from wherever you live think, believe or live a certain way..
The disrespect is getting old and corny at this point...Like any region in the land, ppl have their own politics and move how they move...
