He is a little bit right. Rza had a few jems after forever but not like the early days.
Right.

Like Stand Up is actually pretty CRAZY

But he couldn't provide a whole Wu solo with joints like these by 99 :francis:

The W was his last hurrah. Iron Flag has gotten worse with time to me (and the W has gotten better ironically)

The W low-key has some of my favorite Wu production. Iron Flag was a let down, but still has some great tracks.

I feel like Rza does have some good tracks on non-WTC albums (Wu-affiliates or not...like that track on Pun album for example) but that goes back to the big Wu-problem, which was stretching too thin. If Rza had kept all those tracks it would've been more than enough to produce full banging WTC albums.

It’s blasphemy to speak. I never been a RZA fan outside of the early Wu works. Once they became so popular RZA was so sought after. Then he started getting $20-30k and more per beat, I am sure his beats were rushed and he was selling throwaways. It’s too difficult for a person to keep up with that type workload and make every joint a banger. There definitely came a point where his production fell off a cliff.

What killed rza production was his change of drums. The old stuff had the "it" I guess because it was samples, but once he started using drum machine sounds, it went downhill, to me

He's not totally wrong imo aside from being bitter

That's when RZA started making those goofy keyboard beats, and weird loops. His sample game fell off. He still had some crazy beats in those years but much less consistent

U was the wackest nikka in the group. This is universally known. :mjlol: So I can't take this salt seriously.

It was either Triumph, The Jumpoff, or Uzi ...I can't remember...but I remember Meth saying how everybody in the Wu was feeling that beat except "the same nikka that don't never like nothing" :pachaha:

That was RZA talking about Meth not liking the Uzi/Pinky Ring beat:
