The most overestimated military is the United States who has lost every military conflict it’s been involved in since WW2 despite spending ungodly sums of money annually. Russia is fighting an actual standing army and is winning meanwhile the US spent $20 trillion and 20 years to fight goat herders in flip flops and lost

Yeah, this is Definitely a redefinition of an L vs a potential stalemate. The goal was for North Korea, China and the soviets to extend the influence of communism as much as they could. By definition, if most of the super powers and allies of America in all regions(Europe, the pacific, Africa, etc) haven’t fallen to communism, and haven’t made any power moves or responded to American encroachment, then how would you define them as L’s?America lost the Korean War because the goal of US intervention was to create a unified non-communist state, which didn’t happen.

Israel proxy war on Palestine = L (Hamas still isn’t defeated despite mass murdering hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians)
Proxy war/s against Russia = L (Russia successfully annexed the crimea and historically Russian parts of Ukraine)
I don’t think you understand what overrated means. Overrated doesn’t mean the US doesn’t have a strong military. It means our military doesn’t have the results comparative to the amount of resources we dedicate to it. At $1 trillion we shouldn’t be getting into and losing 20 year conflicts against farmers and nomadic herders
It’s all relative using your logic. But what isn’t relative, is Americas presence of bases across the globe uninhibited.
