Oil isn't going back up, possibly ever, and especially not to $150 barrel.


don't be so pessimistic, all we need is major chaos in Saudi Arabia. disturbance with the Persian gulf, the latest radical group sabotaging oil in KSA, China/India economy pick up, more nations getting developed and industrialized, etc...a Republican president could definitely get oil jumping again.

The Middle East and North Africa are in chaos right now and prices aren't budging.

Yes, perhaps China will pick up again but it's probably not going to be anytime soon. China will also reach peak urbanization at some point they can't just build indefinitely. I think India is still rolling along last I checked...

I think we're about to see a serious change in the global economy.

We have bases and are on good terms with Muslim states from North Africa to Asia.

Think they'll play nice when the US takes an aggressive stance to KSA? I don't think so. Look at the reaction to Iran whining about their cleric getting axed.
