The problem is when you fukk them up they come back because the Taliban has close ties with them. It also doesn't help that we back a very unpopular corrupt and incompetent Afghan government which leads to people supporting the Taliban. And it also doesn't help we turn a blind eye on Pakistan supporting the Taliban.
It's wrong because Afghanistan is a resource drain. And if us being in Afghanistan is to keep check on Iran it has failed. Iran has recruited Afghani and Pakistani shiites to fight in Syria. And this is all the while we were there. Also Iran almost went to war with Afghanistan when the Taliban was in power back 2001. We are simply doing them a favor fighting their hated enemy the Taliban.You didn't say this was wrong, tho
And Afghanistan is where empires go die anyway. We have been there forever. I was in the 5th grade when the war started and now I'm in grad school. This war has been going damn near my whole life. The war has been a failure and a quagmire and it's time to leave.
