I've never given thought to suicide but the topic is interesting to me. I did a google search on it and the first thing that pops up is a hotline. One of the sites I found tells you how to do it and surprisingly they say one in 25 or so attempts are successful. Also 2/3rds of people that attempt suicide aren't fully intent on succeeding.
I would think if you wanted to kill yourself there are some surefire ways to do it so I fail to see how 24 out of 25 people fail at it. Gun in the mouth pointed up at a 45 degree angle seems like a solid way or shotgun to the heart there are ways to electrocute yourself that seem like instant kills too.
If you're doing this as some type of cry for help then I would think it better to work through the problem. Seems kinda dumb to halfheartedly attempt suicide.
