You wouldn’t feel more secure with someone flying that shyt tho?

Maybe it’s just human nature :yeshrug:
I'd prefer a human to be there as a just in case shyt goes wrong option I agree with that. However It having no pilot wouldn't prevent me from using it. I def wouldn't be the guinea pig though. Let that shyt do a few years of rides with no problems and I'm with it...

In the Silver Lining
So cities of Dallas and Los Angeles are working with FAA, NASA, and Uber to use these "air taxis" as the pilot Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) crafts, to develop a new system and/or somehow integrate into existing airspace system/network we currently have to keep the skies safe and navigable.

I've heard they are trying to make the cost no more than a typical uber ride of the same distance.....Uber is going for that Mass Appeal bag

Gamechanger.

@BlackPearl The Empress @Coco Loco are right, the irony is these are likely will not be allowable in most if not all of DC...probably some parts of VA and MD too. Everybody else :blessed:

The real cost, if this ever becomes ubiquitous technology is we will forever loose the ability to look up in the sky and see a clear sky especially in cities...at some point it'll look like every other flying car sci-fi/action movie. Imagine looking out on a skyline and trying to take a picture, but endless streams of VTOLs are blocking your view.
