Game would have been set during the reconstruction period (late 1860’s to 1870’s) in the American south. Protagonist would of been an former slave who moved to the west after the civil war to start a new life, there he is met and recruited by the Assassins and return to the south to fight the KKK.

The title was reportedly canceled mainly because of pushback regarding Shadows lead protagonist Yasuke. :francis:

:russ:The discourse around gaming is cooked. I knew it was cooked when cacs were crying. About how the nazis were being treated in Wolfenstein New Colossus, and The Mafia 3 outraged. Their reactions to CJ in SA was just the prelude lol. But when gamergate and Anita Sarkeesian hit that’s when everything changed. Now almost every new game release devolves into culture war bs.
Crazy to think culture wars have fukked up every medium it touches :francis:
