Broke nikkas to the leftttttttt, employed nikkas to the righttttttttt. If the games are good ill buy it. You will always find a group of consumers that complain about everything. If its dope it will sell, if its a ripoff it wont.

Assassins creed 1 thru 55?
another issue is their older games aren't compatible with the new consoles. I understand they have a large library of games, but I'm not sure how much interest there would really be in those older games

this all kinda reminds me of the situation on PC with Steam, Origin, and Uplay. everyone saw Steam making loot and wanted to be on some "me too" shyt. but Uplay and Origin suck :pacspit:

it's just crazy to think about the average console gamer paying for internet access, gold/psn+, EA sub service, Ubi sub service, Activision sub service, Rockstar sub service, etc...

You obviously wouldn't subscribe to all the services at once. But the smart consumer would use the extra purchase options to their advantage.

it's smart, business wise, because it locks people into buying your products. they sub, and then feel obligated to take advantage of whatever discount... on an overpriced digital game

Your not locked into anything. It's not like there are any contracts to sign. You know exactly what you are getting when you pay. I paid $5 and got to play madden, FIFA, and BF4 for a month. I can decide if I want to continue that or not.

Open Pandora's Box for EA and their fukkery and now others wanna get in on it. :snoop:
-----------------------------------

"The company is keeping a watchful eye on EA’s new Access program on Xbox One, and Guillemot sees benefits beyond the revenue.

“I think it makes the publisher more important in the player’s mind,” he says. “Often, people are only interested in one brand from a publisher, so they don’t look for other brands. When you buy into something like Access, you can try other things for free and discover other things you like. It’s a way to make sure gamers can get more info on what we do and the diversity of our portfolio.”

Guillemot likens the idea of publisher “Access” subscriptions to television channels. “When you look on your console, you have many channels and you want that diversity,” he says. “Instead of saying everything’s in one place, we can say ‘Okay, try these channels: EA, Ubi, Activision.’

He sees programs like this as a way to increase diversity and attract new users to the consoles. Interestingly, Ubisoft hasn’t yet signed on with the only platform-level program yet. The company is not included in the PlayStation Now library. “We are still in the process of studying what it can do,” he explains. “We are open to any way that can give players access to our games. It has to work well and be a smooth experience.”

As they tried to silence Courtdogstradamus, he did indeed talk about how the Future of XBL would be what?
A cable company, and XBL would turn into the same thing sega had with The Sega Channel and Comcast back in the day
These subscriptions are basically the channels, Courtdogstradamus was right again
Dumbass rekka trying to shyt on this while at the same time claiming he would buy it (EA Acc.):umad:

Its all good, PSN is just as good as XBL :troll:

Well, at least Ubisoft didn't already have a perfectly good system in place (EA Season Ticket) and then repackage it without the best feature (The full 3 day early access which was worth every penny to me).

Ubisoft ain't dumb, if they see EA Access take off they have enough of a library to throw up a ton of their old games for a monthly fee. I can't kill em since they haven't even done it yet, if they do it the right way then it could be a decent offer since the old AC games are a million times more replayable then year old sports games.

All EA had to do was continue the full 3 day early access and add in the games library and EA Access is a great deal, but when it comes to logical decisions you don't look to EA.
