these stanleys are going to learn one day. stop the stannery and pay attention. Dont be so gung ho about crushing the competitor. when the competitor is trying to take you into the next stages of gaming.

While the Stanley are stuck on 1080p 60fps..
That box is talking about lets offshoot some computing to two areas

Pay attention Sony lovers. MS = MICROSOFT. They do this for a living. Who do you think is closer to Intel? Sony or MS?

Who's been making OS for PC's for decades Sony or MS?

I like sony. always have, always will. But lets be clear. Sony was and always will be a giant sony Vaio. Throw a ton of money at the problem types.
They are not innovative enough to figure out how to stop bottlenecks in the first place. They will just say hey, lets buy the most expensive piece in hopes we wont run into the bottelneck.

I told you guys before. a lot of yall dont understand how computers work and havent been paying attention to the processor wars of the past. anyone remember how the processor GHz were going higher and higher and higher. then eventually they said forget that, lets keep them at an average of 3gigs and change. but add more processors to the mix. you know what. forget that. how's about adding one processor but inside of that one it has multiple cores.

Lets add another processor on the video card like a real processor strong enough to power an older pc if you think about it. just for the video card.

Its not longer just about Get more ram. get faster ram, get a faster processor.

its about all of it.
programming to make things work better with the components the system has in it.This also helps with bottlenecking.

then getting not just faster pieces but the most compatible pieces(hard drives, ram, processors).

lastly, finding other ways to make the main system work less , especially when linked up to the internet. the faster the net is. the more CPU power we can use overall. thats ALL OF US. not just xbox users. Sony too. but if yall keep hating on that Box. sony will never have the team to put that together. they wont have to. you will have your 1080p, 60fps and thats it .not knowing they are dumbing down your AI, when it should be on another level from last gen and its not. they got you dazed and confused by pretty pictures. Sounds like 2k14 in a nutshell.

even if you hate M$. let them live if for nothing else they will keep pushing the gaming genre forward with their innovation.

if you dont think your net speed will be fast enough in the current to near future to use the cloud for processing. the example is easy. i got time warner at hte house. i had that turbo. runnin at like 25 down 5 up. They just upgraded me 2 months ago. i'm now at 100 down and 10 up. we know fios people upload is extreme(which is prime target for cloud computing). The structure is already here folks. pay attention.

getting to 1080p and 60fps would be a cake walk if you could off load a lot of that stuff to other online pc's via a cloud service of some type. that wouldnt be a big deal. the big deal would be in how intelligent the AI is. How many AI characters can occupy the same area at the same time without any issues

God, what's this gonna look like on the PC? They better use more than 1 core.

I'm excited for the game though.

900p at 30fps though. :camby:
They won't scale us back on PC, they only dumbing down the console peasant version...

I am more concerned about performance issues on PC...

Black Flags looks incredible on PC but does have slight performance issues (FPS hiccups)...

Black Flags had weird fps on PC as well. Lazy ass developers.
It's locked in at 30 fps for some reason...

shyt is beyond stupid but like I said the game does look incredible...

I have Freedom Cry on the quad and Black Flags for PC...the difference in image quality is very noticeable...

I'm like 90% sure this will be an initial disaster on the pc, but then they'll continue to patch it until it's playable.

I'm real concerned with the number of NPCs. This game is gonna seriously require a lot of CPU power. I'm overclocked at 4.4ghz on a 4820, and I'm worried it's not gonna be good enough. They'll probably want 6 or 8 cores for ultra

Then there's the vram issue. Hopefully it won't go the way of Watch Dogs. I'm worried though :lupe:
