UC Gundam appreciation

[Days of Future Piff]

I've been binging the Universal Century timeline for a hot minute and it's crazy how heavy and real this series got. (If you're not familiar, a lot of Gundam shows take place in different timelines, and the UC timeline is the main one.)

It really hits home how depressing and pointless war really is.

Timeline had some of the GOAT classic moments...

Bright slapping the taste out of Amuro's mouth and telling him to man up

Char plotting revenge and screwing the Zabis over out of revenge for the way they did his pops

Seeing characters like Ramba Ral and realizing there's decent people on both sides

Lahla

Camille's star-crossed romance with Four, and how it ends

Scirocco's pimp hand

The way Haman finessed both sides at the end

Emma Sheen

The last two episodes of Zeta

Char's swag in Zeta this dude was rocking a sleeveless Thriller jacket with some Kool Moe Dee sunglasses indoors... in outer space (Might have to make a thread on this one day)

When Katz flew in to try and kill Scirocco on some mess and wound up killing Sarah instead

08th MS Team, and their fight with Norris near the end

I just finished Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket

I haven't seen Gundam ZZ yet. Is it worth a watch?
