Colby is the toughest matchup for Usman in my opinion.

They are both very similar fighters. They are high volume, high pressure fighters. It's going to be a war of attrition between them I feel. It will be tough for them to take the other down, so it will mostly be fought on the feet with a lot of clinching up against the cage (where Usman has the advantage imo). Colby is a bit more active and will have a slight advantage in the center of the octagon based on volume, but Usman is more accurate. On paper I would give this fight to Usman, 3-2. If Usman gases then Colby can steal the fight.

Obviously hoping for Kamaru to finish the guy, but I see it going to a very close decision. So I'm going to say Usman by decision (either majority or split).

Their stats are very similar. While Colby has more takedowns per min, this will ultimately be nullified by Usman's tdd. He's never been taken down.

Colby also throws more punches, while Usman is more accurate. Usman also has better strike defense and a longer reach.

Stastically, Usman is basically an upgraded version of Colby, but styles makes fights and theirs are very similar which is why I think Usman wins by a narrow decision.

You’d think Colby is a GOAT level fighter the way people are gassing him up. If he wins this might as well call him the greatest welterweight ever.

I'm taking Usman by UD. I think he's stronger w/ better cardio and training with Henry Hooft his striking should be solid.

I see Usman knocking him out but if that doesn’t happen early then Colby has a chance with his insane cardio

Woodley said usman is extremely strong, Colby has the tank, but when they stand and trade, I can either being knocked down or out with a flush shot. Definitely hoping Usman wins, the way he dominated woodley surprised me.

I'm out the loop. Is this Usman's first fight since Woodley?

Felt like that was forever ago. Buddy was hurt?
