The question should be why do UFC fighters get paid so little when they have PPV events with millions of buys.

They are not unionized and frankly the average mma fighter doesn't seem that smart. The matchmakers are watching them bash their faces in while pocketing millions.

I do not think it is an issue of them being smart but more as you said about them not having a union. Unless there was a mass strike that lasted at least for months to force UFC to the table nothing is happening.

The same weirdos that like to clown the NBA for it’s ratings:mjlol: but NBA players get guaranteed money and more than a lot of sports

The TNT/ESPN deal have more to do with players getting paid more than anything. Remember wasn’t truly flowing in like that until about 2014-2015 with the cap spike. The spike that only happened because they overpaid for the rights.

:heh: maybe if dana white stopped stealing the funds for himself and paid fighters a fair purse y'all would see similar results... shyt mcgregor had to fight in a boxing match to see a decent payday....:mjlol:

He’s more of the face of UFC and not the owner correct?

He's asking the wrong question.

"Hey Dana, if this shyt so popular why are we making so little?":martin:

"Hey Dana, why can't I get my own endorsement deal instead of this wack ass Reebok/Venum shyt?":stopitslime:

Ask the right questions to get the answers you want:yeshrug:

Gotta thank Michael Jordan for globalizing the sport like that man. NBA brings in an insane amount of revenue as a result, coupled with great player representation, in an industry that is EXTREMELY specialized and rigorous to get into...and it makes perfect sense why they get paid what they get paid. Deservingly so, might I add.
Quit pocket watching and go work on ya jump shot nikka
Gotta thank LeBron. This recent jump hit after The Decision.
