Folks whole arguement is fukking stupid anyways. I dont get how or when MMA competition became the end all, be all of fighting. I also dont get what part of "acting pays farrrrrrr more than pro MMA does" is so hard to get. What would MJW gain from competing in pro MMA? And for what, just to prove to stupid fukks he can fight? Pro fighters dont even do it to prove they can fight, theyve already established that in prior competition, they fight to pay the fukking bills. $$$$$. They go in and risk their lives to get paid. If they had other ways to bring in more cash to where they didnt have to get their faces beat in, they would. Now Im sure if MMA had blown up in MJWs younger years prior to acting or even early acting years, he wouldve been all for competing, but now at his age as an established actor, itd be fukking pointless and not even worth the risk. Also, as folks mentioned with Greg Hardy and dudes like him, it says a lot about professional MMA when guys with little to no combat training or experience but even slightly physically gifted can step up in the the cage and beat pros who have been training and fighting well over a decade or more. fukking Dave Bautista even beat an MMA vet who had over 40+ fights in his debut, so to say a man who sleeps, eats and breathes martial arts, even training with MMA figures on the reg wouldnt beat an MMA fighter smaller and less physically gifted than him is fukking retarded.
