From what I recall, Debra Wilson characters in games tend to look like...Debra Wilson, to the fukking letter, lol! She's an average face lady (at best), especially these days.

It's not just her looks (though the games make her look more bug-eyed than she does in real life), it was also the way she was dressed. She's also got a pair of titties that vanished.

My point is that she has feminine traits that, to me, were purposefully left out. There was a indie game that had a black woman as the main character dressed like a male ivy league student from a Revenge of the Nerds movie. I'm not saying slut her up, but black women don't normally dress like that.

Dumpy/Androgynous/Lesbian seem to be the main three looks black women get before attractive in games.

The women in games don’t typicall start out looking that bad either, but like i said earlier not every games engine is going to perfectly translate their real life depictions into the game. Some games just do mo cap and animations better than other

I dont think theres some grand conspiracy that devs are going out of their way to make women “ugly” in order to pander to people. Its normal looking women that are just getting wonky looking translations to their gaming engine

And again, its only an issue when the women look that way. I have to look at goofy/scruffy white dudes in 90% of the other games i play

The responses show why this should have been done sooner. Weird as fukk that a woman can't be a character in an action game unless you have a hard-on when you look at her.

She's a normal-looking woman, it's just a bad angle and facial expression. People calling her "inbred" or "hideous" are out of touch with reality and just showing how much media is distorting the image of what women actually look like. 90% of the gamers hating on her would try to fukk in real life if she was made up and dressed up at a party.



If you can enjoy a video game with an normal looking man and not worry, why are you so angry about what a normal looking woman looks like?

my beef with hammerhead is that she didn't look like ellie. i could give a fukk if ellie was "attractive" or not, the difference was jarring. I feel like they should've picked a lesser known actress that looked like what we saw in the video gamr, like they did when hammerhead played lady mormont..NOBODY knew who she was and she was brilliant

With the writing, and appearance of female video games characters. At least in the west, them Japanese studios aren’t bulging.
