I dunno man, I can't understand half of these southern players anymore. That and Chicago for some reason. Derrick Rose and Tony Allen are illegible English speakers to me too. I don't feel some type of way about their speech because of the color of their skin, it's just that I can't understand whats coming out of their mouths.

Everybody got serious and started pulling up grades & shyt. It's kind of fukked up and it may even be a double-standard, but a little unity is better than no unity at all, I suppose. It's always great to watch because you KNOW it's about to get real for someone.

shyt's like when you HATE your siblings and ether them on the regular, but no one else had better say shyt or it's on. :birdman:

Black People: The fukk is this guy talking about? :what:

White People: Is this even English? :ld:

Black People: What don't understand, you cracker bytch? fukk you! :usure: :pacspit:
damn skrait :birdman:

nikka u bringin up Emmitt Till :what:
Why not?

There is a tradition in this country of Blacks NOT being able to be comfortable saying or doing what is in there "freedom" to do. And in the past, even when that behavioral action wasn't even done, ramifications would have equaled death or severe beating.

We have this mother saying some side ways shyt like this... She should NOT feel comfortable saying it.

She shouldn't be killed, but her ass definitely needs to be shamed.

But what does emmit Till have to do with what she tweeted? :why: Black folks can say whatever the hell they want in 2014.

Let me be clear, I'm not defending AJ McCarrons mom, but I'm seriously confused at u drawing some comparison to Emmit Till. You lost me on that one :what:

Ronnie I feel you.

Aight... I was thinking about this the other day.

There are still remnants of that brutal type of discrimination & prejudice. When it comes to cross racial situations. To a point where, blacks can feel uncomfortable doing certain things. And although we can say what ever we want in certain situations, in certain professional environments, there is still that hesitation, like "Nah, I going to chill, let me talk a certain way, let me not get passionate like I really can."

What I'm syaing is, the past & brutal history subtly affects us in ways where we will be reserved not because it's the appropriate thing to do, but because the person may be lambasted because that behavior is associated w/ "being black."

Meanwhile, whites feel comfortable saying & doing whatever until there is a force that makes them feel uncomfortable.

When I see a situation like this...I'm just happy that, even if it was a misunderstanding, there was a backlash & she most likely felt very uncomfortable about it. Something that, 50 years ago, would have been laughed off by her & her family.

Yeah man. I went back and watched this shyt about 3 more times and I understood everything he said. Some Mf's are simply hatin on a 20 yr old black man that just had a great moment in life.

Yea man. People from the South have southern accents. Who could have guessed that? :ohhh: You hear her tell it Jameis was speaking unintelligible English. Like Boomhauer from King of the Hill.....when it wasn't even close to that. He has a southern drawl but, I understand him just fine.

The Hill used to allow a few academic exceptions every year (up until the early 00s with flunkgate), but Ryan isn't dumb either. He's just southern (geechie a little actually since he's from my area in Coastal SC around Charleston).

Didn't realize you were from the lowcountry breh, my man.
