Florida exposed Winston both years he faced us as a QB who looks funny in the light if you breathe on em :yeshrug:

Also that is a lie when Jamie's plays against pressure he is elite. You can go on footballsfuture and they show he is better against the blitz then a 4 man rush. When he gets blitzed he is at elite status.

See this is what I am talking about when it comes to ESPN and the narritive that they spin. They make it seem like he can't step in the pocket and move. When with your one eyes and data backs up that you do not blitz him and send pressure. Because he is too smart and can avoid the blitz.

All of a sudden one of the best QBs in the last 10 years to come out of college vs pressure is now garbage against pressure cause they show a few highlights on ESPN and say they done watch a ton of video.

Please I know it is a lie when football focus called out ESPN two years ago when they were calling out Cam performance. When it was the OC going away from the two TE set and calling nothing but read option and it had nothing to do with Cam.

I didn't know leftwich could spin and avoid a people then reset and throw a dart. All this time I though he was a statue like drew bledsoe. I guess my eyes lied to me watching him all those years.

Maybe those bigot eagle fans are right too. You know they say all McNabb's TDs came off of dump off passes to westbrook.

What makes this weird is that it isn't the typical Hoge response. He usually goes in when it comes to decision making and other things. It looks as if he couldn't find anything wrong and went to the Leftwich thing by negative default.

They showed a segment where Jameis drops the the ball to his waist area, takes a long stride (from baseball) and then throws. In the NFL that allows for defenders to get near you quicker and for DBs to make a play on the ball.

Leftwhich use to to pat the ball before every throw (not to mention his throwing motion) its why he could never stay healthy/wasnt as successful.

Jameis does have better movement than him so that shouldnt a problem plus they cleaned up his mechanics.

I think if he compared him to Leftwhich coming out of college that would be fair. He was a beast in college. Jameis flaws looks correctable though.

If that's the only issue Hoge has, then that's a rarity.

Glad to hear Jameis speak on it. He said it's a byproduct of his pitching that he has to clean up.

Eh. I thought he played very well his freshman year against Florida. Yea Florida's offense was so bad it kept giving FSU possessions. Still as a RS FR in that environment/rivalry game he played well.

He looked like a disaster against them this past season though.

He's long legged and not overly quick. He just has to really work to improve his footwork and he'll have no problems. There were times where he just relied on his smarts and arm last year instead of setting/resetting his feet. Probably due to the suspect Oline.

Man you KNOW im just shyt talking Winston, he good money with me. The best QB ptospect coming out of college since Peyton

Merril Hoge isn't to be taken seriously until he stops wearing those stupid ties that don't reach his belly button
