Pick a nice hot day and go to the top of Flatbush Ave @ Empire Boulevard, and walk south until you get to the big Target (this is called Flatbush Junction).. It's about a 45 minute walk through the highest concentration of Black people in the country (statistically).. it's EXTREMELY cool, lots of stores, lots of stunning black women, you will understand what Brooklyn is about if you make that walk..

Temptations, Flatbush - The darskin crip nikkas be on they bullshyt real heavy out there.

Any nighttime events in/on "Sterling" "Newkirk" "Rutland" "Sutter" "Merrick" "Sutphin" "Guy Brew" "The East/EastNY" "Linden" "Fulton" "Brownsville" "Liberty". All gunman strips.

:whoo: accurate

Yeah man definitely...tell me wagwan about bed stuy :leon:

Finally getting to go to a ghettogothik night on sat :ohlawd:

Venus X don't know a british niccas about to put his bid in :ohlawd:

This weekend is going to be nice so I suggest hitting up some spots in Bed Stuy that have an outdoor backyard area. Always swarming with good looking women out there for the gram.

Spots I like are Lovers Rock on Tompkins (West Indian vibe), Treehouse on Marcus Garvey (throwback R&B vibe)... They're small places but on the weekend they're packed in with people, especially good looking women, everyone congregating in the backyard.

Casablanca on Utica is more of a hipster vibe, but when I've went in the past I saw plenty of black people (more on the hipster side) in the mix. It's a bit more pricey, but it's a cool atmosphere.

Don't hit Milk River, it's wack as fukk.

Staying on Brooklyn is the wave. I would almost argue that if you want the real NYC experience, don't bother leaving BK.

@Orbital-Fetus pretty much hit the nail on the head. If you like clubs... it pretty much depends what you're into. But you can find anything. I would just check out a new neighborhood each night. I haven't lived there for 5 years but off the top of my head LES, Prospect Heights, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Chelsea ( :dame: ) and Harlem are probably good places to check out at night. Just be careful in Harlem :mjpls:

But there is plenty of shyt to do during the day... all the shyt NYers speak to but never have time for. Museums, parks, music, food, etc etc.

Hit Northern Lights record shop between Myrtle ave and Bushwick ave.

Right next to the myrtle ave train station on the J and M line.

My favorite shop in NY. Great selections and really fair prices.

bushwick, and the project i'm talking about was the robert fulton houses in chelsea...i've walked through plenty hoods so far but i've also been taking the subway a lot. i'm gonna do a lot of legwork 2moro tho. i haven't touched queens, harlem, long island etc yet...

bushwick and williamsburg are gentrified the fucc out from what i've seen...like, for the UK heads, these areas are shoreditch on steroids :merchant: like boxpark throughout the whole ends

Yeah Bushwick/Williamsburg is gentrified to fukk. But I've notice once i get to Grand Street/Boriquen place and anything east of that, the scenery changed a lot.

Could someone give me a heads up on the bronx, staten island and spanish harlem? :jbhmm:

Is east harlem spanish harlem?

I want to take the staten island ferry but i don't want to do and then just get there and be all :martin: without a clue of anywhere to go lol

Shoutout to the bredda @BlackPrint  to you my man

Yday :whew: i walked around the whole of prospect park, milled around that smorgesboard food event then walked all the way down from the top of flatbush ave to the target. Sh_t was :ohlawd:...plus there was some mini carnival thing going on.

And then i went over to harlem, watched a game at rucker and walked from 155th fredrick douglas down to st nicholas park abd watched another bball game there then walked down from there to 125th and walked up and down malcolm x blvd...sh_t caught me off guard lol...i was like "yo...why is there a wholefoods and h&m on malcolm x blvd??? :pachaha:"

I love harlem tho...its version of a city aesthetic is :wow::wow: i could definitely live there.

I will say tho...rucker is the first time my antennas have gone up and i wasn't sure if niccas was plotting :pachaha:

Breh from polo grounds standing next to me pointed to me and whispered across the court to someone else asking who i was. He didn't notice i noticed that cos i was looking out the corner of my eye. He and his crew dipped straight away and i kept an eye to see if they weren't going to their whip. But they just went back into their building and i :manny: and i continued to watched the game. But i kept getting stares from people so i just dipped, it was an organised teenager game and must've been real local so i must've just stood out on some "who the fucc is this? :what:" sh_t. Its whatever.

I will also say. I was gonna take stroll up to the 160's and see wagwan but once i started seeing youts openly selling on road i was just like "nar i'm good :skip: i KNOW i'm not supposed to be walking round here"

You're in a new place so you were probably looking wide-eyed and curious about all the things you were seeing. If New Yorkers think you're staring at us, we flip out. Especially the very hood among us. It's not something to be proud of, in fact, it's a pretty bad character flaw. Just be conscious about where your eyes land. Plus uptown a lot of us are on that :dame:

Yeah, I don't know what the hell they're talking about. If your preference is sisters, I can't think of a better place to be. It's the whole diaspora crammed into one densely populated city (Africa, West Indies, Afro-Latin, AA). I suspect a lot of these dudes aren't about black women like that.

Are you from London or elsewhere in the UK? I haven't spent enough time there to get a sense, and wasn't there to meet people/hang out, but London seems to have a lot of the same advantages going for it in terms of women.
