Your arguments are nonsensical.

We are not at war.

American govt is funding a country that is at war and the country we are funding is winning.

No American lives have been lost.

No American money has been wasted, American foreign policy is getting an epic return on investment.

Of course we are still dealing with the aftershocks of the USSR, the USSR was the world's #2 superpower a mere 30 years ago. For reference, the aftershocks of the collapse of the British Empire lasted 50+ years, the aftershocks of Spanish Empire collapse lasted over a century.

You've got people in here praising Trump, talking about if he was in office America would be helping Putin carve up Ukraine, etc. You don't have to lie to kick it.

  1. Semantics. You can't feign indifference to a war then turnaround and give one side ~$4bn. Our participation may be passive, but lets not pretend that we are totally detached.
  2. What ROI? Unless you think Russia somehow becomes a benevolent state to the West (which hasn't been the case in almost a century), its not like we are going to swoop in there and have our fill. And the Ukraine? The are basically unimportant to us as a trade partner (they have nothing of importance).
  3. I've only seen one person praise Trump in this thread, so its not even worth mentioning. I just hate how people bring him up as a strawman tactic when they feel that Biden is attack.

No one is feigning indifference, certainly not American govt. The difference between being at war and providing foreign aid is not semantics.

Russia has cost American govt and business trillions of dollars in the last decade. Stalling their economy out by providing foreign aid has curtailed their ability to destabilize our own economy.

Youre not reading the thread if you can't find the people praising Trump

.
Thet aren't winning. Their either surrendering, deserting, or getting killed. There's nothing we can send them to put them on par with Russia militarily. This is not the same stategy that was being used at the start of this strategy.
