See this the fundamental difference. Only pockets of certain cities are getting gentrified. EVERY borough is getting taken over in NYC.

No way in hell breh, there are so many 20 story project developments in the South Bronx, it's so overwhelmingly black and Latino it's going to take WAY more than 5 years.

Breh dont even waste ya time trying to debate logic with him. He is a Atlanta, Anti-Ny troll. A bad one at that.

At least Megatron comes thru with the comedy :heh:

This goofy nikka not even from here, but swears he knows more about the city than nikkas like us who actually live here :snoop:

Beverage Fridge, 3rd Row!!
Reason why NY rap was not popping has more to do with Egos in the city, stuck in the past ass nikkas, lack of a proper modern musical scene n underground infastructure, and most importantly a lack of 1 real new age superstar. Has nothing to do with some Cacs getting frapachino at Starbucks in brooklyn bruh.

And besides, im willing to bet ASAP Rocky more relevant than WHATEVER artist is popping in ya backwater place of residence :usure:

we got the underground/internet/hipster scene on lock but the city doesnt embrace them. We have some dudes that can make some noise commercially (especially Young Prince) but they lack a real artistic vision that appeals to the masses.
