T.O. is clearly better:

- better route runner

- more consistent ( 800+ yards even in his last two seasons)

- more durable ( just one season below 14 games )

- more clutch ( numerous game winning touchdowns )

- mentally ( didn't check out when on bad teams ) & physically ( 9 catches for 122 yards in the Superbowl not even 2 months after fracturing his fibula ) tougher

What makes him one of the most overrated players in NFL history? Fitzgerald has some of the best hands in NFL history. He has more tackles in his career than he has dropped passes. He's played with bums at QB for the majority of his career. He was dominant during their Super Bowl run when he actually had a QB.
:what:

Fitzgerald has several years where he didn’t get 1,000 yards. He had some really good years but he was never fukking with T.O. He wasn’t explosive. He’s a possession receiver.

He’s a compiler. Dude was drafted in 2004 and is just compiling numbers..

When was he the best WR in the game?

T.O. went for 850 yards on only 55 catches at 36 years old with Trent Edwards and Fitzpatrick throwing to him.
What does that have to do with the trash that Moss played with? Fitzgerald is better than the majority of QBs that Moss had. TO has also stated that Fitzpatrick threw the best ball of ANY QB he ever played with.

T.O. in this era would be disgusting, as he'd line up in the slot a lot more. And low key with his size would even be in packages some times as a H-Back like Fitz is doing now. Chipping DE's off the line and getting into the flats matched up against LB's and shyt.
In the biggest game of his life, Owens caught 9 for 122 yards on one leg.

Moss got locked down to 5 for 62 vs the Giants, so...

As a TO stan, I can understand how his hands or lack of can cause him to drop. Dude dropped at least 8 tds 1 yr for the Cowboys. And still had like 14 or 15 tds. He was better at getting open than Moss and he was a better blocker. IMO, he was the better player. What makes it crazy is that he wasn't even a natural wr.

TO has 1 less season than Fitzgerald where he didn't get 1,000 yards. I'm not arguing TO versus Fitzgerald. I'm asking how he's one of the most overrated players in NFL history.

You conveniently left out the fact that TO didn't score a TD and Moss caught what would have been the game winning TD if the Giants didn't come down and score.
