Why are some of y'all sworn to Nike? Do you own stock or is it just a thing? If so, why is it a 'thing'?
Exactly. These nikkas worship nike like these women worship white jesus! :heh:

WTF is Nike doing for the hood that has these dudes so caught up in this fukking company? :why:

At the top.
While this is true, check the resale prices of curry under armor shoes on eBay. nikkas copping those foe double retail like they're retroes

Check out the prices for a pair of Fragments, Chicago 1s etc ..doesn't stack up.
Curry's MVP hit resale because asians are trying to capitalize on him winning a championship; UA shoes are not hype like that.

Thread title is silly; Nike is not "shook" by UA. Sure they've made some gains which is great; they are well known for their apparel but still have a long way to go.

Under armor is different from Nike, fila, adidas, etc

Those companies are shoe companies who make apparel

UA is an apparel company who has some shoes

The growth market in the sportswear industry is in apparel and UA >>>>ADIDAS and tier 2 companies, and their apparel is on par with Nike imo

UA WILL eventually own the apparel market, as it gets more collegiate contracts and expands its woman's division and Nike will get back to its core competency of shoes.
This.

Most of the best schools in sports are nike though so who are they really getting?

A lot of the contracts are coming up and Nike is already talking like they will sell prestige over the money UA is offering. At least that's what they seem to be doing with Texas. If they land Texas that's 2 of the top 5 revenue schools. If they have success with Texas, I think a lot of football schools will take a more serious look at them. Texas and Notre Dame are great moves for them. Both schools have the alumni to really invest heavily. I think basketball schools like Duke or Kentucky probably stick with Nike. But for recruiting in football, UA seems to have the juice now.
