Getting a direct return on a donation to a movie(most are just donating small amounts of money) isn't the only way that people besides dude come up. When his documentaries come out, the black scholars featured benefit, the books stores and other black venues that distribute the product benefit, promoters who do the screenings benefit, the vendors at the events for the screening benefit, ect. That's group economics you stupid son of a bytch. I went to a screening of HC4 this past summer and the event was packed. There were black vendors coming in from other cities just to work that event. After the screening that hundreds attended, cats literally sat around meeting greeting and networking. The positive energy alone made the event worth attending.

Because if he was really about helping the people he'd post it on Youtube. He'd get ad revenue but still allows a majority of people to watch and view it. THe Ad Revenue would cover the cost of making the documentary easily but he's obviously in it for profit.
If those cacs at VICE can release long ass documentaries on Youtube as well as a host of others then I don't see why he can't do it. Other then him wanting to turn a profit.
