Homie..that shyt didn't matter. It was just another match. The streak storyline started and gained traction when everyone thought Blandy was gonnna end It back at WM 21. The Michaels match in TX ended up very good and people are trying to revise it as some ALL TIME great classic..when it's just something geeks online talk about. The CM Punk match with Cena is more talked about than the Taker/Michaels stuff....so get real. No Shawn Michaels match in history at WM is talked about all too much except the Iron Man one and the one with Razor. He's been gone and no one really goes out of their way to talk about the old man. It's just a internet thing...that's it. You acting like this shyt was Eddie/Rey status that everyone going crazy when it happened

Hulk Hogan went through that whole jobbing tour in like 2003 and always came back to the biggest pops of the night and nobody cared that he laid down for almost everyone in the roster that year.

I was falling out when Orton started the Legend Killer gimmick, assuming Taker was on that list but he failed. As far as revision goes, it's the WWE, it's what they do. Let Vince McMahon tell it, Undertaker and HHH were bigger draws than Sting and DDP back in the day.
It can be dope all it wants but no one sees it as some legendary encounter like it was Andre/Hogan or something. It's just a revised history from fans who think Shawn Michaels is bigger and better than what he actually he is. If that match was that great and legendary, Shawn would be blowing roofs off every time he shows up as the "Greatest wrestler of all time" as he recently said no reaction in his home state. Instead..he comes back and gets booed out against Daniel Bryan in 3 str8 appearances, gets booed out for Sting in his ONLY WM match..a match where the fans were more into Sting in that than they were into Shawn in both of his Undertaker matches. So let's calm down on the hysterics and trying to act like the Taker/Shawn stuff is some WM 17 level $hit. No where close. After those two failed Shawn/Taker matches, they had to run to the Rock to save them for 3 str8 years. HBK's latest appearances have been Edge status, I'll give you that. History will always be rewritten in the Kliq's favor as long as Vince and HHH are running things. Regardless, HBK is still one of the best to do it. And Rocky only saved WM27 and that one Raw where he confronted Rusev and Lana. His 10min promo against Cena was killer and Rock/Cena 1 was ok. He's been trash other than that.
Shawn has a lot of appearances that have "Edge or Conway" status if you want to be real. Him and Foley have get no sold a lot. They can rewrite specials with DX being on the Nwo level but did you hear the reaction when Austin, Brock, and Taker came out last week compared to "Mr. WM". I mean..cut the $hit, man. He's not even Bret Hart level. How could he EVER be as great as people online want him to be? It was always a stupid sentiment and it remains one to this very day.
