Why do we have a wealth gap in America between black and white people to the tune of $150,000? Is that a mentality, or is there a system in place to get those results? I understand you have to believe in yourself to be successful, but the system is rigged, broken, and unfair. My belief has nothing to do with my personal life. I'm just recognizing the lack of opportunities black Americans have as a whole. That's not defeatist, that's acknowledging systemic racism and a lack of generational wealth. Obviously, no one should use that as an excuse to not do their best.
