By the end of this month almost half if not more than half of people will be unemployed, broke and very scared not just for their livelihood but for their very lives. Giving people some paltry $1200 for just one month which btw they won’t be seeing for weeks isn’t going to do shyt to calm them.

Introduce UBI asap or else what happens if people snap will be way worse than whatever this virus brought.

unemployed people who get unemployment claims approved are getting 600/week + regular unemployment amount for 16 weeks

the unemployed people screwed are the ones rejected for unemployment benefits

but i do agree with UBI and not really into the plan congress approved

if UBI becomes a thing, wouldnt landlords raise rent as well? Wouldn’t the price of other shyt go up too since everyone knows that everyone receives an extra 1200 a month
