What say you?
Pros:
Cons:
Bu... but, what about all that amazing strategy that happens in NL games? Like 4 pitching changes an inning, and the almighty double switch?!!! What about them?! So sick of hearing about how much better the National League product is, when it fukkin isn't. That's so overblown, and in this day and age where Interleague is only expanding, not going away, just fukkin do it already.
If I have to watch one more damn game where there are RISP with 2 outs in like the 4th only for the pitcher to be up... that shyt is old and pathetic.
Oh and spare me about the pitchers who can hit, b/c they are few and far between. If a pitcher hits .200, he's basically considered a great hitter.
And lets be real for a second here, most 8-9 hitters are gonna be pretty crappy anyway, so pitchers should still be able to do their damn job on the mound against the bottom 3rd without the added luxury of a guy swinging the bat like a retarded female toddler against them every 3 innings.
Pros:
- Never watching a pitcher attempt to hit again
- Pitchers never risking injury swinging/running/sliding
- Never having to see homo pitchers in jackets on the basepath
- Not having to pull a starter under 100 pitches who is pitching well b/c your offense is shytting the bed
- AL teams not having to play their shytty DH in the field in NL parks
- Hopefully less bunting - Less free outs
- You can utilize the "second lead off hitter" in the 9 spot
- Always having a spot in the lineup for that raw hitter who "doesn't quite have a position"
- Good way to give your regulars half a game off every now and then
- Hopefully not seeing moron NL managers botch bullpen management as much
Cons:
- One less easy out for the pitcher
- ... uh
- the uh...
- Nothing else.
