Hey Joe,.....

Let's get to rant'n.
I was watching some youtube shoot vids and entertaining the audio.
Anyway, it got me to thinking about how guys get crap on.
Yet may not be responsible for getting crapped on like it was deflected on to them.

Which brings me to a list of guys.
you may or may not think were being buried but they were.

Lex Luger : Poor luger, yeah at the end of the story..people will talk about the mania and Vince episode and Liz.
Yet real talk, lex luger's burial issues in the wrasslin biz began in the loss to ric flair via a worked leg injury that when luger went to slam flair his body failed and flair secured the pinfall as luger came crashing to the canvas and flair capitalized per the booking.

This is where lex luger got buried and what started the luger is crap backstage shyt.
even if he was green, because of the complextion of the business and the perception by fans.
That loss at that time forever hurt luger convincability and he was buried.
Which is probably where his spirit got lost and luger went from the skies are the limit.
to just a plain ol this is my job worker.
It is definitely by perception that luger was awful.
When he was damaged as a draw from that moment to any other moment cited as to why he was a failure.
Also couple this with the later heel turn to taint luger so no matter where he went he would never draw as well.
As nwa/wcw pulled a coup of WWE when luger jumped.
All because luger would never work ever as a heel in any capacity and was in legacy a natural baby face.
So, there is also the one time wcw got one over on vince and imo, nwa/wcw got back the guy they damaged and just ran with it however, whether it made sense or not.

Yet and still in all this,...
People will write oh luger sucked.
No, luger was buried and after his initial burial was never going to get over like the potential answer to hulkamania.
Luger, naturally should have been when he first appeared.
When real talk,....if NWA knew that wrasslin had actually reset the moment hogun was in rocky.
They would have known to put luger over.

Yet, it seems flair may have had control of the book.
So, the booking decision could have been tainted from jump.
Yet, real talk, the decision for luger to lose is what buried luger and he NEVER RECOVERED.

It just happens you say a lot of dumb shyt that needs to be refuted. It's not personal, you just say dumb shyt.

Lex never losing clean to Flair after what felt like 30 PPVs in a row is not a burial. It DID hurt his momentum and popularity, but that wasn't the intention. The intention was to keep him strong by never cleanly losing to Flair, and half of those matches only happened because Sting got hurt and Lex was a last second replacement. After the Flair feud, Lex was still an upper mid carder/main eventer/champion his entire run before going to WWE. That's not a burial.

A burial would have been Flair beating Lex cleanly in 5 minutes and Lex then being in the openers for a few months before being released. At no point was Lex Luger ever buried during his feud with Ric Flair in the 1980s.
