well as for me:
Boondock Saints is a gawd-awful movie, carried by very good acting and great cinematography.
The Hurricane is a top 3 Denzel movie.
Rob Brown may be one of the most underrated Black actors out (see: Finding Forester, The Express, Treme (tv))
Michael Keaton was the best Batman and a slept on Bruce Wayne, imo. He's the only actor that made you root for him in and out of costume.
The Wood is a slept on coming of age movie.
The Watchmen is a top 5 comic movie, maybe top 3.
The 1st Kick-Ass movie > The comic
Robert Rodriguez since Sin City has been taken more risks and has been more consistent than Quentin Tarantino.

Agree with all of this right here. Especially on ROFTLD. That's like my third favorite movie.
While we're on the topic of zombie movies and their remake counterparts, I absolutely cannot stand Dawn of the Dead 2004. The opening scene is great, after that it's an abomination and shouldn't bear the same name as the classic 1978 version. The characters were some of the most unlikeable creatons in movie history, and the movie is more of an action flick than a horror movie.
