Soccer requires as much skill as basketball. Literally you cant play professional basketball in 2022 without being able to dribble and shoot adequately. Basketball become positionless because of the influence of soccer.

How do you quantify that? You ever played football (soccer) ? Can you even juggle a ball? That’s an important question to ask.Hey maybe there IS “some” talent involved. I’ve just always felt like it’s the “least” talented of the major sports.
Most positions in American football require just insane genetic gifts. If you’re not technically sound in soccer you will fail no matter how physically gifted you are. And I love American football too. The gap in skill required to be good though isn’t the same at all.
The acting in that sport is top notch.........

Vision, touch, awareness, reading the game, tactical intelligence, technique. Now if you've never played it, you can't appreciate how difficult to control a ball from a cross field pass under pressure from a full back, or see a through pass etc.

I’m not saying which takes more skill and talent because there’s a spectrum of skill/talent levels in each sport.
They use the their feet better than other sports athletes use their hands. How is that low skill?

Least talented sport is american football tbh. Except QB position. Bc all you need is physical skillsNot much I agree with this Trump supporting CAC Dana White on, but I’ve always felt like soccer takes the least amount of talent to play. Takes a lot of endurance, yeah. But not a lot of skill/talent. And certainly not as much as football/basketball.

If soccer is so easy to learn, a smart black man should be opening up training centers in the hood and recruiting these misguided young brothas. You can build a whole roster of Peles and Messi’s, be their agent and you’re damn near a billionaire once their pro careers take off.

Funnily enough, I have a friend with poor eyesight who can play American football with no problem. But he lacks the spatial vision to play any futbol position. It’s just not possible without his glasses
